Engage in genre analysis and multimodal composing to explore effective writing across disciplinary contexts and beyond

Every major genre assignment we received required that we complete a genre analysis based on student samples. The Genre analysis questions differed depending on the which genre assignment it was, however each one involved analyzing the samples ability to use the rhetorical elements.

The Engineering Proposal demonstrated the most multimodal composition because it required both a printed media and oral presentation. Multiple images were required demonstrating our thought process behind the proposal.

Below is an example of my groups engineering proposal that includes images of our wildfire irrigation system and installation scheduling that we hope could help prevent the spread of wildfires in California.
