Stance is the attitude of the writer towards the specific topic you’re writing about. Simply put, most writers often have a passion or reason behind whatever topic they choose or how it’s written and structured.

For my Memo I took the stance that the Math department, more specifically the online enrollment process, needed a much smoother and time manageable system.

Below I noted how students often stressed while finalizing their classes for the semester and how the math department doesn’t allow enrollment for some courses until a few weeks before the semester begins.
